La fachada del edificio, varía a medida que entramos en la parcela. En la zona norte un muro de piedra nos limita las vistas del conjunto, y nos protege de los vecinos. Dirige al visitante hasta la zona de entrada de la vivienda. El espacio de habitación, se resuelve volado sobre la parcela, orientado a la salida del sol con textura de cobre patinado. El volumen de salón comedor, revestido de madera de alerce está orientado al sur, con la piscina y el porche/terraza mirando hacia el suroeste donde se focalizan las vistas hacia la Sierra de Gredos. Un edificio catalogado maltratado en el tiempo del que solo se conservan porciones reconocibles en la fachada principal. Desde que abordamos el encargo de este proyecto nuestra principal intención era devolver el carácter y la esencia al local. Una nueva imagen para el negocio y una nueva imagen para la calle.Queríamos sacar a la luz esas capas ocultas que ya tendrían su pátina con el paso de los años. Los muros de carga con los nichos excavados a modo de hornacinas, los techos de artesonado y el suelo de marmol original.Una vez realizada la demolición unicamente pudimos rescatar el muro de carga lateral. Muy maltrado con las sucesivas reformas, que ya había dejado atrás su labor estructural con la reforma que se realizó a mediados del siglo pasado.Aprovechamos los huecos existentes, así como las cajoneras de los muebles antiguos, y diseñamos una serie de muebles de madera de castaño y DM lacado.Texturas en blanco, terrazo negro, madera de castaño, rattan, piedra y latón.
